Financial Product Manager

FinX is looking for a seasoned Finance Product Manager who has deep and broad experience in managing multi-stream programs in fast-paced agile environments and building products customers love.

As a Finance Product Manager, you will be working on initiatives that are critically important for FinX’s success. You will be leading complex cross-functional programs to success, partnering with product managers, analysts, engineers, and designers. You will also work closely with product and engineering leadership to determine the vision and strategic direction of the programs you’re driving.

Job descriptions:

Research and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze requirements from business units (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury, etc.) to gain a deep understanding of customer needs and internal processes.
  • Analyze user data and customer feedback to identify bottlenecks and issues in existing transaction flows, and propose process improvements.

Process Design and Business Flow Development:

  • Design transaction flows (Cash Flow / Posting): Develop detailed, logical transaction flows for key features in the application (e.g., fund transfers, bill payments, online account opening, online lending, savings deposits, etc.).
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD): Clearly define business requirements, processing rules, conditions, and exception cases for each transaction flow to guide IT development teams.
  • Build Business Rules: Define data validation rules, error-handling conditions, and applicable criteria for each transaction.

Collaboration in Development and Testing:

  • Work closely with the IT team to clarify and explain business requirements, ensuring developers fully understand and implement according to design.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to review test cases and ensure the accuracy and stability of transaction flows.
  • Coordinate with the Data team to validate data testing results, ensuring the final product meets business requirements.

Optimization and Post-Implementation Support:

  • Monitor the performance of implemented transaction flows and collect feedback from customers and stakeholders.
  • Propose improvements and optimizations to enhance transaction efficiency, speed, and security.
  • Provide business support in resolving post-deployment issues.

Other Requirements:

  • Proactively plan personal work according to each project phase.
  • Prepare progress reports and project phase updates.
  • Develop and deliver project-related reports as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business analysis management or equivalent managerial positions within the banking or financial sector, particularly in software development or mobile application projects.
  • Proven experience in decision-making and team management, with direct reporting responsibilities to senior management.
  • Preferred: Experience with Core Banking systems, Payment systems, or Digital Transformation projects.

  • System Analysis: Competent in analyzing and modeling business processes and workflows.
