About the Role
FinX aims to build a digital financial platform that will deliver on the promise of simplicity, technological advancement, and superior customer products & services for millions of people in Vietnam.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with solid AWS experience to join our team and support Landing Zone operations. This role focuses on single-account AWS management, application deployment, and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
- AWS Landing Zone Management: Architect and maintain complex AWS Landing Zone infrastructure and governance
- Multi-Account Architecture: Design and implement complex AWS multi-account strategies using AWS Control Tower and Organizations
- Advanced Networking: Configure and manage AWS networking across accounts including Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity
- EKS Management: Deploy, manage, and optimize Amazon EKS clusters across multiple accounts and regions
- Advanced Networking: Configure and manage AWS networking across accounts including Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity
- Financial Services Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure meets financial regulatory
- requirements and security standards
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, conduct technical reviews and knowledge transfer
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering; 3+ years working with AWS in enterprise environments.
- 3+ years implementing AWS Landing Zone; 2+ years in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Proven ability to design and manage large-scale, multi-account AWS infrastructure using Landing Zone, Control Tower, Organizations, and SCPs.
- Strong proficiency in AWS networking: Transit Gateway, VPC design, hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect/VPN), Route53, and network security controls.
- Advanced container orchestration skills: EKS administration, Helm, Kubernetes security, ArgoCD, and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with Aurora Global Database, Amazon MSK, cross-region replication, and disaster recovery architectures.
- Solid Infrastructure-as-Code and automation expertise with Terraform/CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, distributed tracing, ELK/Splunk, and automated
