About the Role
FinX aims to build a digital financial product that will deliver on the promise of simplicity, technological advancement, and superior customer products & services for millions of people in Vietnam.
As a Software Development Engineer in Testing, you will own one domain. You will be responsible to deliver stable and quality products based on business requirements with optimized resources. Together with product leadership, you will be responsible for the continuous delivery of the FinX roadmap to the customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API for assigned modules/features.
- Analyze requirements and derive automation test scenarios for assigned features.
- Execute automated test suites, investigate failures, log defects with clear details.
- Contribute to improving existing automation scripts and minor framework enhancements.
- Collaborate with developers and manual QA to reproduce defects and validate fixes.
- Support junior/middle QA members in understanding automation scripts and debugging.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Good programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python for automation scripts.
- Experience in API automation with Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Knowledge of automation design patterns (basic POM, data-driven testing).
- Familiar with Git for code versioning and running automation via existing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
- Understanding of banking features like login, transfers, payments, account management, notifications.
