About AI Platform
We are developing a shared AI platform for the business units of a multi-industry group in Vietnam. The platform runs on Kubernetes with LangGraph, FastAPI, and AWS Bedrock, using LangFuse for observability, and enables business teams to build and operate their own AI agents: attaching tools, loading internal documents, and orchestrating multiple agents that work together.
About the Role
We’re looking for a (Senior) Fullstack Engineer who can deliver complete features across backend and frontend. You’ll work on applications built on our AI platform, including an agent builder, chat and streaming interfaces, admin and monitoring consoles, and business applications for FinX teams.
Working from technical designs agreed with Senior engineers, you’ll take features from task breakdown through release, ensuring reliable APIs and responsive, consistent user interfaces.
What You’ll Do
- Develop features end to end using Python/FastAPI and Next.js, from implementation planning through release.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs within a microservices codebase, covering API contracts, versioning, pagination, authentication, service integration, and error handling.
- Translate Figma designs into responsive interfaces using reusable design-system components, with appropriate state management, form validation, and loading, empty, and error states.
- Clarify requirements and technical design gaps with Senior engineers, Designers, and Business Analysts, and raise technical or usability issues early.
- Write unit, integration, and E2E tests across both layers; investigate and resolve bugs reported by QA or identified in production.
- Work with database schemas, migrations, query optimization, caching, and message queues. Build and deploy through Docker and CI/CD, and monitor logs and dashboards.
- Participate in backend and frontend code reviews, and maintain API specifications, component documentation, and runbooks.
- Join Agile ceremonies, estimate your tasks, and proactively communicate progress, risks, and blockers.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience, with hands-on ownership across both backend and frontend.
- Production experience with Python and FastAPI or Django REST, including Pydantic, async/await, SQLAlchemy, and pytest.
- Production experience with Next.js and TypeScript, including App Router, server and client components, data fetching, and state management using React Query, Zustand, or Redux.
- Experience delivering at least one production web application with an API and UI serving real users, and working in an Agile/Scrum team.
- Experience integrating services within a microservices codebase, handling errors and timeouts, and investigating issues through logs.
- A solid understanding of REST API design, including resource modelling, status codes, pagination, versioning, OpenAPI, and JWT/OAuth2.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, schema design, indexes, migrations, Docker, and CI/CD.
- The ability to implement Figma designs accurately, with attention to responsive layouts, UI consistency, edge cases, and data correctness.
- Clear communication, realistic estimation, and a constructive approach to code review. You can read technical documentation fluently in English and communicate in writing at work.
Nice to have
- Java/Spring Boot or Angular; Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, or Playwright/Cypress; accessibility and Core Web Vitals; native or cross-platform mobile development; AI/LLM integrations, RAG, or streaming interfaces; AWS, GraphQL, or WebSocket. A published mobile app is a strong advantage.
- You’ll have opportunities to deepen your skills in service design, resilience patterns, distributed tracing, and frontend architecture.
- If you care about the complete user experience and enjoy taking features from API to interface and into production, we’d like to hear from you.
